      <title>PWRDF Relief for Haiti Earthquake Victims</title>
      <description><![CDATA[<p>A catastrophic 7.0 earthquake struck poverty-stricken Haiti on Tuesday, January 12th, killing thousands and leaving so many injured, homeless, and without basic necessities or medical care. <span class="caps">PWRDF </span>(Primate's World Relief and Development Fund) through <span class="caps">ACT</span> International (Action by Churches Together) is already responding and has sent an initial $15,000 to Christian Aid in Haiti. Christian Aid's offices were destroyed in the quake, but their staff are OK and are working to alleviate the great needs that are present in Haiti today. If you wish to help, please make your friends, neighbours, and community know of <span class="caps">PWDRF'</span>s work in emergency response. You can donate online to <span class="caps">PWDRF </span>for this emergency (or anything else) at the following link: www.canadahelps.org</p>

      <title>Baptismal Preparation and Review</title>
      <description><![CDATA[<p>Sr. Constance Joanna will be leading a class (every two weeks beginning the last week of January) for anyone who is interested in baptism or who would like a review of basic Christianity/Anglicanism. Baptism, as well as renewal of baptismal vows, will occur at the Easter Vigil, April 3rd.       <title>North Yorkers for Disabled Persons</title>
      <description><![CDATA[<p>In July <span class="caps">NYDP </span>celebrated 25 years since its official opening as a home for the physically challenged. Although government funded, the home at 2880 Bayview is part of the church's outreach program and some of the residents join us for worship and social functions.</p>
